Breeding quality genetics since 2020
We started breeding genetics to supply our own commercial operation, but quickly realised that we had more to offer other producers. An idea to optimise the implementation of EID has led us down a path of data collection that has seen our sheep go from strength to strength. From there, what began as an exercise to collect data and improve profitability, evolved into a passion that now sees us providing high quality genetics to commercial sheep breeders.
Data collection occurs all year round and includes over 30 data points as well as visual assessments and DNA analysis to ensure commercial sheep breeders who use Mulana genetics have the best quality genetics to grow their flock, reduce ongoing maintenance and increase revenue.

Local Family Farm
Mulana Poll Merino is a family owned and run merino enterprise. We love that our business is a family business and there are many days where the children are in the yards helping us to draft, muster, feed or help collect valuable data for our sheep.
As a family with young children, we understand the importance and value of working smarter not harder, and achieving more for less. We also understand the importance of having a healthy work/life balance, allowing you to spend quality time with those you love, rather than swinging on a drench gun. This is why so much focus is placed on making our sheep easy care, allowing you to do the same.
